When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, my successful international tour business, Red Door Tours, came to a sudden standstill. My heart broke!  The thought of putting my beloved textile safaris of India and Morocco on hold and not accompanying my many returning guests on their next exotic adventure was devastating.

I decided it was time to pivot (I am the poster girl of pivoting) and seize the opportunity to start a new business that would give me the privilege of sharing my beautiful hometown Orange, and the surrounding region with food and wine-loving visitors.  And here we are, with Country Food Trails.

I love Orange, to me it is the heart of NSW. I am passionate about showcasing the incredible food, wine, history, and natural beauty that my beautiful hometown has to offer.  Sure, you can Google, ‘What to do in Orange,’ but you won’t get the knowledge and local experiences that we can offer.

Over the years I have uncovered many unique experiences, hidden gems and delicious treats which have now come together to create a range of unforgettable tours.

If you’re looking for a flexible, fun and down-to-earth tour of Orange, you’ve come to the right place.

I’d love you to join me for a glass of local wine, a picnic in the vineyard or a glimpse into the fascinating history of Orange; I know it won’t be the last time we meet in the beautiful Orange region.

Like catching up with an old friend

Nicole made our Wine and History tour of Orange interesting. We had been on tours before that had made us feel not so special but with Nicole we had felt like we were catching up with an old friend. We highly recommend anyone joining a tour with Country Food Trails.

An enjoyable afternoon

Nicole was very friendly and managed at the last minute to organise a splendid guide, Sharon, for our private tour. Sharon’s passion and knowledge of local history kept us informed and entertained. A great way to learn more about the town and its lively history. Thanks for an enjoyable afternoon.
