Dog Friendly accommodation in Orange 

4 of their apartments are pet friendly. 

Hilton Homestead is set in a large country garden on a working farm.

Ideal for small groups and families, Hilton Homestead has six beautifully furnished bedrooms with two king beds, one queen, one double, and two singles, accommodating 12 people in total. Your dog will love a true farm stay.  

Both  cottages are dog friendly. If you’d like to stay without your dog but still interact with dogs, Dalton St Studio is perfect for you. There are 2 English Pointers to play with! 

Dog Friendly Cafes in Orange 

There is a combination of indoor and outdoor seating. There is also a fabulous shop with local produce, wine and beer for sale. 

There are a few tables on the pavement which are suitable for dogs.  

Groundstone have a large outdoor area so plenty of room for your dog and kids. 

Nile St have both indoor and outdoor seating, including a lovely, shaded courtyard. 

We’ll organise the picnic and venue, you just turn up and enjoy!

Dog Friendly Vineyards in Orange 

Brangayne is a small, family owned vineyard with their cellar door in an old apple packing shed. 

Philip Shaw has an extensive garden with plenty of outdoor seating. You may wish to chill in the garden with a glass of wine. There is indoor and outdoor seating for the wine tasting. You’ll often find some of the cellar door dogs lazing around.

  • Ross Hill
    • Ross Hill was the first carbon neutral winery in Australia. They offer a behind the scenes tour each day at 10 am and this is followed by wine tasting. It’s our favourite way to start a wine tour! They have seating inside and out, making it perfect a perfect place to bring your dog.

      • Deb is a dog lover so you and your pooch will be made very welcome. Highly recommended for country hospitality.  

      The Best Parks for Dogs in Orange 

      There are two parts to the Gosling Creek reserve. One is dog friendly and the other is not.  

      This is a small park, fenced especially for dogs to exercise and socialize. 

      You need to keep your dog on a lead but Cook Park is a fabulous park located in the center of town with large trees that provide plenty of shade.

        • Great walking paths but you need to keep your dog on a lead. Lots of shade so perfect in Summer.
